Changes in Design of Question Paper English Language and Literature (SA-2)
In this new pattern the total weightage of MCQ type questions has been reduced to 26 percent. Originally it was about 57 percent. Thus about 75 percent questions will be subjective type and students have to write their own inputs in second term March 2011 summative assessment.

Class 9 English B CCE Syllabus 2010-2011 for Term 1 and Term 2
CCE Syllabus for class 9 English Course B for session 2010-2011 prescribed for First Term (April 2010 to September 2010) and Second Term (October 2010 to March 2011) issued by CBSE, New Delhi. There will be total 80 marks Questions in each S1 and S2. After marking the answers, it will be reduced to 20 marks in case of S1 and 40 marks in case of S2. CBSE Syllabus and Examination Structure for Formative Assessment of Class IX English Language and Literature. It is for second term examination (October 2009 to March 2010) and exam will be conducted in the school in March 2010. It covers 20% marks (FA-3 10% and FA-4 10%) paper out of total 60% marks in second term.
