Changes in Design of Question Paper English Communicative (SA-2)
In this new pattern the total weightage of MCQ type questions has been reduced to 26 percent. Originally it was about 57 percent. Thus about 75 percent questions will be subjective type and students have to write their own inputs in second term March 2011 summative assessment.

Class 9 English A CCE Syllabus 2010-2011 for Term 1 and Term 2
CCE Syllabus for class 9 English Communicative for session 2010-2011 prescribed for First Term (April 2010 to September 2010) and Second Term (October 2010 to March 2011) issued by CBSE, New Delhi. There will be total 80 marks Questions in each S1 and S2. After marking the answers, it will be reduced to 20 marks in case of S1 and 40 marks in case of S2. CBSE has divided Text book chapters, Grammar portion, Writing section and Reading comprehensive in two terms. Separated division is given for Formative assessments and summative assessments.
